The Norcross City Council voted Monday to deny a proposal to rezone a residential area to allow townhomes at 75 College St. The property fronts College St. and Holcomb Bridge Road. Existing homes on the lots fronting College St. are single-family detached units meeting a required five foot separation. The balance of the property is in the process of development and is covered by Design Concept Development zoning.

The applicant, Skip Nau of Parkside Norcross Inc., proposed fee simple, townhome structures with a maximum of 8 homes in each building for a maximum of 24 homes.
