Norcross officials are seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on the Tree Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals meet at 6:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at City Hall, unless modified due to holidays or scheduling conflicts. The Zoning Board of Appeals handles variance requests from the zoning ordinance. Examples includes requests to modify building setbacks, height limitations, and parking requirements.

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly at 10 a.m. on the second Wednesday at City Hall. This board assists the Community Development Department in interpreting and enforcing the Tree Preservatiob Ordinance and advises city officials on the preservation of trees and conservation of the city’s tree canopy.
