Norcross recently introduced William Corbin as the city’s new Economic Development Director. Among his responsibilities, Corbin will work to increase economic growth particularly in key industries and provide employers with access to talent pools.

In a recent letter on the city's economic development website, Corbin stated, "I am passionate about the socioeconomic stability and well-being of towns, cities and regions, and I have a strong interest in how the economic development-related activities of public and private organizations in our communities affect the daily lives of businesses, residents and visitors."

Corbin has been a resident within either the incorporated city limits or the greater Norcross region for several years. He worked from 2014 to 2018 in Duluth to help build and implement economic development plans, programs and services, including much of the downtown and citywide development.
