Norcross been awarded $380,000 in Livable Centers Initiative funds with a $95,000 required match for preliminary engineering for a pedestrian trail project for Prioroty/Phase 1 segments of the Beaver Ruin Greenway. The initial work will include surveys, planning, design, bidding and construction oversight services.

The project incorporates a multiuse trail adjacent to the roadways along S. Cemetery Street, Mitchell Road and Pinnacle Way, with connecting trails between those roadways. The project includes upgrades to existing sidewalks, landscaping, crosswalks, and connections to the new Pinnacle Park. This project begins at Mitchell Road/Buford Highway and ends at Beaver Ruin Road in 2 locations.
