A new Publix will open in the Reynoldstown area on Wednesday, the company announced.

The store will open at 7 a.m. June 26 at Madison Yards on 905 Memorial Drive in Atlanta, Publix media and community relations manager Brenda Reid said in a news release. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 6:45 a.m.

Madison Yards is a massive redevelopment of the Leggett & Platt industrial site along the Atlanta Beltline.

The 54,000 square-foot store will anchor a mixed-use development with residential homes and retail businesses, Reid said. The shopping center will also include covered parking, elevators and four car charging stations.

Fuqua Development is in charge of the 17-acre project, which will include a movie theater, a health club, loft office space, 200 senior units and 400 multi-family units and multiple parking decks.
