Atlanta police have released video captures of three people suspected in a fatal shooting Friday night at Underground Atlanta.

Investigators aren't prepared to say which of the suspects -- two men and one woman, all appearing to be in their 20s -- fired the bullets that killed Demons Hambrick, who had just turned 30.

"There were witnesses," said Inv. Kevin Leonpacher, "but none of them stuck around." Some of those witnesses appeared to know the victim, he said.

MARTA surveillance cameras have thus far provided the most promising leads.

Hazy footage from Underground's cameras show Hambrick exiting the entertainment complex at Peachtree and Alabama streets. There, at 8:56 p.m., he's confronted by two of the suspects as they enter the facility. The third suspect can be seen trailing the victim from inside. After a brief dispute, Hambrick was shot several times in the back, Leonpacher said.

The unarmed victim, seen darting away on foot, didn't make it far. Hambrick was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital soon after the shooting.

The suspects, meanwhile, headed to the Five Points MARTA station, where one of the males separated from the others. He's seen boarding a westbound train at 8:58 p.m.

The Underground incident was one of three shootings -- two fatal -- that occurred over the weekend in downtown Atlanta. Earlier Friday evening, a man was shot in the shoulder following a drug sale gone bad. And on Sunday night, a man was shot dead around Mitchell and Forsyth streets. The alleged shooter, Lamarius Jackson, 37, was arrested after he was taken to Grady for treatment of a gunshot wound.
