New car wash proposed at corner of Braselton parkway

The Braselton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53 to consider a conditional use permit for a car wash at the southwest corner of Braselton parkway and Ga 53.

The proposed automatic, tunnel type car wash on 1.16 acres would be an outparcel to a larger development adjacent to the property. The project would include 5 employee parking spaces and 25 partially covered spaces with vacuums.

Assuming the request is approved, Braselton’s mayor and city council will hold a public hearing on the request at 4 p.m. Sept. 5.
