The National League of Cities recently recognized DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson for championing health and wellness programs.

Johnson and the county earned four medals for efforts to promote First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, Among local initiatives honored were Johnson’s promotion of activities in day cares and educational programs in the community.
