A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Kennesaw, Cobb County police said.

Aldo Lefebre, 23, of Acworth, was on his 2014 Yamaha FZ6 traveling north on Cobb Parkway near Vaughn Road, Cobb police Sgt. Wayne Delk said in a news release.

“As he passed through the intersection, Lefebre’s motorcycle collided with a (tractor-trailer),” Delk said.

Police said the truck, driven by Alexis Arias, 60, of Buford, was turning left onto Vaughn Road.

Lefebre was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene, Delk said.

Arias was not injured in the crash.

No charges have been filed, but police are asking anyone with information to call with tips at 770-499-3987.
