The Milton Ethics Board will discuss a complaint filed against city council member Tina D’Aversa Monday night.

A former council member, Neal O’Brien, filed the complaint Wednesday, saying she broke the city ethics code by offering her election opponent, Joe Longoria, an appointment on a city commission if he’d drop out of the race.

D’Aversa said she did nothing illegal and that the complaint was politically motivated.

The board meets at 6 p.m. in city hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway.
