McDonough plumbing business gets new zoning

A McDonough public and septic business saw its zoning request granted by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its March 20 regular meeting.

Express Plumbing and Septic requested rezoning from C-1 (neighborhood commercial) to C-3 (highway commercial) for 1.328 acres at 2172 Hwy. 155 North. The request was approved with conditions, including the preservation of additional right-of-way along Hwy. 155 to provide for future widening of that road, and that the new zoning be allowed only for a plumbing and septic service.
