Marietta city officials will provide a public comment period through Sept. 18 on their draft version of the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Federal Fiscal Year 2018.
CAPER is the annual review of the city’s performance in meeting the goals and objectives identified in the 2018-2022 Consolidated Plan and PY2018 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
Through CDBG and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), counties and cities receive annual federal funds for services to low-income individuals.
Marietta also will hold a public review meeting of the 2018 CAPER at 6 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Marietta Community Development Division Office, 268 Lawrence St.
All comments can be submitted by email to Kelsey Thompson-White at kthompson@MariettaGa.gov or through postal mail no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 18.
