A public hearing will be held by the Marietta Historic Preservation Commission about the possible designation of the new Church Cherokee Streets Historic District.

The meeting will be 6:30 p.m. June 27 in Room B/C, Marietta Fire Department, 112 Haynes St.

A description of the proposed district is on file in the Marietta Department of Development Services, City Hall, 205 Lawrence St., Marietta.

The district would include 124 properties if approved by the commission and the City Council.
