The Marietta City Council voted 7-0 Wednesday night to construct restrooms at Glover Park on the Marietta Square.

They will be built beneath the stage and, with county approval, at Mill and Cherokee streets in a new building closer to the square.

A pedestrian crossing will be installed across Cherokee Street near Dobbs Street.

Dumpster wraps also will be added to the Central Business District.
