Marietta has approved new fees for the nearly completed Custer Park Recreation Center renovation.
The $2.5 million renovation cost is funded by the city’s 2009 parks bond.
The recreation center, sitting on a 3.8-acre tract, will feature a two-story, 27,500-square-foot building and include a range of fitness equipment, two fitness rooms with new technology, a gym with two basketball courts, aerobics rooms, padded floors for tumbling and large transparent windows above the gym and aerobics rooms, so parents can watch their children during recreational activities.
Fees for open play are $50 per year for Marietta residents only.
Daily use fees are $2 for ages 19 and up and $1 for 18 and under per visit.
The Fit Pass costs $15 per month and $150 per year for a city resident, $25 per month and $250 per year for nonresidents.
The Fit Pass for two is $25 per month and $250 per year for city residents, $45 per month and $450 per year for nonresidents.
Fit Passes for a family of three or more, ages 12 and up, are $35 per month and $350 per year for city residents, $75 per month and $750 per year for nonresidents.
