A Roswell man allegedly caught peering into a woman's apartment window early Saturday committed the same crime five years ago, according to police records.

In the recent incident, Michael David Quinn, 37, started running when he was spotted at an apartment window by a Milton police officer, according to an incident report obtained by the AJC. But when the officer threatened to use a Taser, Quinn stopped and was arrested, the report states.

Officers were sent to the Deer Trail apartment after a woman called police and reported hearing someone outside, police said. The woman also told police her dog was growling at the window, making her even more suspicious.

Quinn told the officer he was trying to meet a girl named April that he had met at The Rusty Nail, a local bar, according to the report. Quinn said he thought the woman lived in the building, but wasn't certain if that was her window.

Neither resident of the apartment is named April, according to the report. One of the residentstold officers she believed Quinn was the same man she had previously seen outside her window and that he had a camera, but that she did not know him.

At the time of his arrest, Quinn had a camera, police said.

Quinn was charged with Peeping Tom, loitering and obstruction, according to Fulton County jail records. He was released from jail Sunday after posting $18,000 bond.

In 2007, Quinn pleaded guilty to a Peeping Tom charge in Cobb County, court records show. He was placed on probation and was able to avoid jail time.

But in January 2010, Quinn was charged with marijuana possession in Forsyth County, which revoked his probation, according to a spokesman for the Cobb County Superior Court. Quinn was sentenced to two months in the Cobb County jail for the probation violation.
