The railroad crossing at Buford Highway/State Route 120 in Duluth will be closed for repairs April 3 and 4. Detour signage will be in place.

Large trucks and heavy vehicles will not be permitted to come through town. They will be diverted onto truck routes along Pleasant Hill Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

Travelers on SR 120 westbound will be diverted at Buford Highway toward Pleasant Hill Road. They can take Pleasant Hill Road to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, then turn right to get back to SR 120.

Travelers on SR 120 eastbound will be diverted at Peachtree Industrial Bouelvard toward Pleasant Hill Road. Drivers can then turn left at Pleasant Hill Road and to Buford Highway and travel north on Buford Highway back into town.

Travelers on Buford Highway will be directed to Pleasant Hill Road once they approach the intersection nearest the railroad crossing.

Travelers on McClure Bridge Road will be warned prior to the roundabout so they can simply use the roundabout to make a U-turn and head back to Pleasant Hill Road. They can then travel to Buford Highway along Pleasant Hill Road.

Travelers who originate closer into town are permitted to use the local roads (Main Street, Brock Road) to get around the closure. However, local road detour signs will not be posted.
