The city of Lovejoy is recruiting poll workers to assist in the upcoming general election on Nov. 3. Requirements for becoming a poll worker are: being a United States citizen, a resident of Clayton County and/or the city of Lovejoy; 16 years of age or older; able to read, write and speak English; and must not be related to a candidate who appears on the ballot. A chief manager, 2 assistant managers and 5 clerks are needed work on Election Day.
