Roger Marmol, an Army veteran and longtime resident of Snellville, formally announced his candidacy for Snellville City Council on Wednesday, May 20. This is Marmol’s first political campaign. He has previous experience volunteering with local state senate and representative races and is an active member of the Gwinnett Republican Party and 4th District Republican Party.

In his announcement Marmol said, “I want to continue to see continuous positive growth, preservation of community, and strong leadership on the council, that is why I am running for Snellville City Council.”

Molmar is a member of the Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta and has volunteered with South Gwinnett Food Co-Op, Relay for Life and Snellville Days. He is currently employed with Power3, doing event and business consulting.
