The Loganville City Council recently passed an $11.6 million general fund budget for Fiscal Year 2018. While this is an increase of more than $1.4 million over the current fiscal year, the budget does not reflect a tax increase for property owners.
The additional funds come from an anticipated Community Development Block Grant, which if granted, is in an increase of $667,928. The remainder will result from annual general fund growth. The city anticipates a new fleet department will cost the city $386,750 to start up. The remainder of the budget increase will represent a few new employees and general cost increases.
