Toussaint Kirk is Henry County government’s new planning and economic development director.

In that role he will oversee the county’s Planning and Zoning, Building and Plan Review, GIS, Transportation/Transit and Economic Development departments. His most recent positions were in Griffin, where he was director of planning and development services after serving as an associate planner, and he also was a city planner in Fairburn. The Auburn University graduate started his career in Texas working in the private sector, relocating to Georgia in 2008.

He serves as a board member with Georgia Association of Zoning Administrators (GAZA) and is a former District 4 representative for the local Georgia Planning Association chapter.
