Kennesaw’s City Council on Monday approved a $94,000 bid by Croy Engineering to design a roundabout at Watts Drive and Dallas Street, and a t-intersection at Dallas and Lewis streets. The downtown transportation improvements, funded by 2016 SPLOST, are part of a $2.6 million project from Main Street along Dallas to Cobb Parkway and Watts Drive. Improvements include center median islands, streetlights, on street parking and relocating the entrance to Adams Park.

Construction should start by late summer or early fall.
