Johns Creek invites residents to a public input meeting later this month on proposed Phase 1 intersection improvements at Medlock Bridge and State Bridge roads.
The meeting is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Municipal Court building, 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
Potential concepts for the crossroads include extending six lanes north of the Medlock Bridge/State Bridge intersection to St. Ives Country Club Parkway/Grove Point Road; and extending a six-lane section west along State Bridge to Johns Creek High School, according to a city announcement.
“The project incorporates minimal pavement additions and focuses on restriping the existing road,” the city said. “This phased approach to the overall intersection improvement project is being considered to accommodate potential future intersection design changes/updates.”
