The Johns Creek Fire Department will hold two free training session for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillators this week as part of its ongoing Heart Ready Program. Firefighters will offer training at Northview High School Wednesday. On Saturday, they will offer training sessions at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Newtown Community Clubhouse, 3115 Old Alabama Road. Reservations can be made at 678-512-3221.

Jointly sponsored by the American Heart Association and Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Johns Creek’s Heart Ready Program has trained more than 800 residents and businesses in CPR and use of automated external defibrillators since 2008.
