The busy sounds commuters are accustomed to hearing— train horns blaring, conversations overlapping — will be muffled by live jazz music for a couple hours at select MARTA stations each Monday this month.

MARTA Jazz Mondays, which is executed in partnership with Atlanta’s office of cultural affairs and award-winning jazz artists, started in 2013.

The series is “designed to showcase local musical talent while increasing the presence of the arts throughout the MARTA system,” according to a news release.

Here are the scheduled May performances:

Decatur Station: Ede Wright Trio; May 1, 3-5 p.m.

Lindbergh Station: Dave Ellington/Chris Burroughs; May 8, 3-5 p.m.

College Park Station: Omega Level; May 15, 3-5 p.m.

Midtown Station: Indie Revenge; May 22, 2017, 3-5 p.m.
