Gwinnett County high school students can now register for this year’s summer school classes.
Gwinnett County Public Schools is offering in-person and online classes for students to get ahead or make up a course they’ve previously failed.
Classes cost $250 each, whether taken in-person or online, and $275 each for students who are not enrolled in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Payment is due at the time of registration, which occurs June 1 at Central Gwinnett High School, or any time through June 1 online. You must register for online classes by May 24.

The school district recommends taking no more than two classes. In-person classes are held at Central Gwinnett, Meadowcreek, Mill Creek and Shiloh high schools. Transportation is not provided.
In-person courses meet either in the morning or afternoon time slots Monday through Thursday from June 13 to July 11. Online classes “meet” Monday through Friday.
Rising ninth-graders can only take personal fitness and health summer classes, but rising tenth- through twelfth-graders can take a variety of courses in language arts, math, science and social studies.
