Six Title I schools in Henry County have been named Highest-Progress Reward Schools by the Georgia Department of Education. Wesley Lakes, Hickory Flat Charter, Mt. Carmel, Rocky Creek, Pleasant Grove, and Smith-Barnes elementary schools were named to the list released Dec. 11, according to a school district spokesperson.

Only 162 schools from the state’s 180 school districts received the recognition.
