The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted March 5 to approve several action items relating to SPLOST projects around the county.

The board approved the installation, maintenance and energy cost for lighting on Anvil Block Road, the site of a SPLOST road project. The county will pay $922.48 per month for 120 months for a total of $110,697.60 funded from the Henry County DOT streetlight account.

Also approved was a $112,494.61 expenditure for Henry County Water Authority utility relocation at the Campground Road/Hwy. 155 intersection improvement project, and a $180,000 fee for design services for the Mill Road/Mt. Carmel Road intersection improvement project.
