Dunwoody seeks volunteers for tree planting
The city of Dunwoody, in cooperation with Trees Atlanta, is hosting a tree planting to provide more shade and offer preferred drainage of the park’s water table in its Brook Run Park. The tree planting will take place on Volunteer Day where volunteers are asked to help plant trees around the park. Plantings are being provided and sponsored by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department with the city’s tree committee. Walk-up registration on the day of the event available.

Personal shoppers wanted
The Center for the Visually Impaired is seeking volunteers to be personal shoppers to visit clients at their residences to provide assistance with predetermined personal services such as grocery shopping, retail stores, doctors’ appointments, banks, post offices etc.
Must have be at least 25, with a driver’s licence. All volunteers must fill out necessary paperwork and attend an orientation and training session.
