The Henry County Board of Education has scheduled three public hearings for July before the millage for the 2015-16 year is adopted. The first two hearings are Monday, July 20, at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The third hearing is 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, with the final adoption of the millage at 6 p.m. These hearings are in the board’s regular meeting room in McDonough. There is no proposed increase as the millage rate is already at its current limit of 20 mills. This rate has been in effect since 2007.
