The Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District will open its doors 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 23 at the CID offices, 5855 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.
Guests will meet new Executive Director Marsha Anderson Bomar and staff to discuss ways to help shape the next decade. The goal of the day is to build strong partnerships within the CID.
The organization works to increase commercial values in the district by promoting redevelopment, driving infrastructure investments aimed at increasing mobility, enhancing public safety and improving roadside landscapes. Recent projects include the GR8 Exchange on Transportation survey, plans to redevelop 160 acres at the corner of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Interstate 85 into the Atlanta Media Campus and Studios, and numerous transportation improvement projects.
