DeKalb County recently accepted a state grant to help with its victim and witness assistance programs in the Solicitor-General’s office.

The $82,475 from the Criminal Justice Coordination Council must be matched with $74,500 from the county. The money will cover services from advocates, such as notifying victims of court dates and accompanying them to court, for one year.
