Georgia Tech will officially dedicate the new G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons on Saturday. The building is named after Tech's former president who left in 2008 to become secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. The 220,000-square-foot facility includes 41 classrooms and serves as a one-stop shop for undergraduate advising, tutoring and other academic support programs. The building, which cost $93.7 million, has 347 solar panels and a rooftop garden.
