Each year Henry County’s government awards millions of dollars in contracts to companies for a variety of projects, including capital and transportation projects, infrastructure, human services and more. The county’s purchasing department is taking steps to educate potential vendors on the procedures necessary for working successfully with the county government.
A free “How To Do Business With Henry County” session is set for 10-11 a.m. March 24 in the community room of the county administration building. The vendor networking session is 11 a.m.-noon in Conference Room B in the same building, 140 Henry Parkway in McDonough.
