Forsyth County has announced a series of meetings where residents can help shape the identity of the southeast part of the county.
The “Southeast Forsyth Design Initiative Community Character Workshops” will be held at the Sharon Springs Community Building, 1950 Sharon Road, for the area bounded, roughly, by north of Ga. 20 on the north, McGinnis Ferry Road on the south and Ga. 400 on the west.
Monday, Sept. 16, a neighborhood focus group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m., and a business focus group, from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by an open house from 5 to 7:30 p.m. RSVPs are requested but not required to Vanessa Bernstein-Goldman: VDBernstein@forsythco.com
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, a drop-in is planned for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and a second open house, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 18, a drop-in will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an open house from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
