Forsyth County commissioners adopted a comprehensive update to the county’s Bicycle Transportation and Pedestrian Walkways 2025 plan, which last got a makeover in 2008.

County officials said the update tracks new and completed projects and spotlights lists of proposed new initiatives, including sections along Bettis Tribble Gap Road, Lanier Drive and Majors, Shiloh and Shady Grove roads. The document lays out a list of short and mid-term projects already planned out to 2025.

The pedestrian/bike plan also recommends watching and coordinating with neighborhood jurisdictions as they implemet their own bike/pedestrian trail plans.
