Fayette County is revising its school system’s strategic plan, and wants community feedback regarding its goals and priorities.
A short survey is posted at www.fcboe.org (on the homepage and under District Announcements) along with a draft of the revised plan. New elements include measures to increase graduation rates and course pathway completions, with initiatives related to instructional framework, literacy and support systems as well as effective assessment, grading and reporting. Survey respondents can also offer comments regarding what the system’s goals should be for the next five years.
The survey is open to all Fayette residents regardless of whether they have children in the school system, and is available for comment through June 30.
Feedback will be used to make final changes to the plan.
