A colorful mural depicting nature and water themes will soon adorn a large wall at the Crosstown Water Treatment Plant near Lake McIntosh in Peachtree City.
On Oct. 23 the Fayette County Board of Commissioners authorized $3,000, plus materials costs, to be paid to artist Pash Lima. The project was proposed by the Fayette County Public Art Committee, which was formed to enhance the appearance of public spaces.
The mural is scheduled to be completed by the end of November.
