Central Georgia EMC presented a $9,400 check to Henry County Schools Superintendent Rodney Bowler at a recent meeting at the Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

The cooperative has contributed to Henry County Schools for the past several years, and this year’s donation is the largest, almost $1,000 above what was contributed in 2014. According to Central Georgia EMC, the funds they distribute to school systems come from unclaimed capital credits that remain with the EMC after five years. Information: www.henry.k12.ga.us.
