The city of Dunwoody Community Council is scheduled to meet 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Suite 103 of Dunwoody City Hall, 41 Perimeter Center East.
According to the posted agenda Cypress Communities LLC on behalf of CQ Dunwoody Village Court LLC is seeking permission to amend the Dunwoody Village Master Plan section of the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map from Small-Scale Office to For-Sale Residential, to allow for the construction of townhomes at 1536 Dunwoody Village Parkway as part of an 81-unit townhome development with 1530 Dunwoody Village Parkway to the north.
The Community Council serves as a recommending board to the Planning Commission and the City Council. Its main function is to provide the public additional opportunity to review rezoning requests, special land use permit requests, and code text amendments. The members of this group are also charged with relaying information to their neighborhood organizations and associated interested parties. The board discusses applications on the second Thursday of each month. Agendas with staff reports and documentation are available approximately six days prior to the meeting.
