With increased traffic, Duluth finds it increasingly dangerous for city employees to place Veterans flags and markers on State Route 120 and Pleasant Hill Road. Because of this danger, all markers on S.R. 120 and Pleasant Hill Road will be moved to Buford Highway or George Rogers Avenue.
All markers from Governors Landing east bound on S.R.120 have been moved to 3159 Buford Highway. All markers on Pleasant Hill Road westbound from W.P. Jones Park to McClure Bridge Road have been moved to George Rogers Avenue. Markers in front of the Orchards subdivision and the remaining few on S.R. 120 will be moved next year.
