The Duluth City Council recently heard from Planning Director Bill Aiken on potential provisions to the Duluth municipal code, “Stopping, Standing and Parking”. He shared concerns from various homeowner associations and residents questioning the need for amendments to this code to promote and protect the safety, convenience, order and general welfare of the citizens of the Duluth.

After discussion, the City Council agreed that following up with each homeowners’ association on their individual solutions would be the best approach since there is no one uniform policy decision that would benefit all of the neighborhoods who have voiced concerns.
