The Doraville City Council approved a contract awarded to Excellere Construction LLC recently. The company has won the bid to add, repair and improve the city’s sidewalks for $192,790. The city will pay for the construction with funds awarded from the Land Management Improvement Grant.

Another item passed by council is an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Chamblee, to conduct the Buford Highway Livable Centers Initiative study. The agreement between Chamblee and Doraville means both cities will contribute to the study.

The council also approved Alan Malcolm’s appointment to the Assembly Community Improvement District Board and Shelby Triick to the Downtown Development Authority Board.
