Doraville approves new lab, credit card fees

The Doraville City Council approved a conditional use permit for 4553 Winters Chapel Road during the council meeting Monday. The applicant, Otogenetics Corporation, seeks to operate a research scientific lab on the ground floor of the office building.

The council also approved a revision to the city’s credit card fees and fee schedule procedure. Because the city’s court payment system was just updated, jail bond transactions and court cost fees will be 2.25 percent of each transaction, and other fees paid to the city will be a flat $4 per swipe. Previously all transactions were $4 per swipe.
