The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously at its Dec. 3 regular meeting to approve resolutions accepting two separate donations of equipment for use in the county’s parks.

The Kiwanis Club of Henry County is giving two park benches valued at $1,108.36 each to be placed at Heritage Park Veterans Museum. A total of 12 picnic tables and 24 benches donated by Grady Morrow are for use in Sandy Ridge Park and other parks as needed. Their total value is $26,400.

Nether of these donations requires any matching county funds or has any restrictions on their use.
