Cobb County is seeking community feedback on the Light Pollution Study, affecting Dobbins Air Reserve Base at meeting 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theater, 548 S. Marietta Parkway, Marietta.

The Light Pollution Study is a part of the Joint Land Use Study bringing together Cobb County, the cities of Marietta and Smyrna and Dobbins ARB to understand and assess nighttime lighting conditions surrounding the base and propose recommendations to support the aviation missions at Dobbins ARB.

Goals of the studies are to support a healthy economy, environment and community while safeguarding the military mission.
