DeKalb senior group wins grant for home repairs

Senior Connections recently won a $5,000 grant from Georgia Natural Gas to help county seniors with emergency home repairs.

The utility’s Blue Flame Award is designed to help non-profit organizations with their services. Senior Connections will use its funds on home repairs for low-income seniors. More than 1,600 people are on a waiting list for that aid.
