For most children, the highlight of their winter break is opening gifts.

But, if you’re looking for a bit more creative stimulation, the DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs is offering a winter break day camp with recreational and art activities for children between the ages of 5 and 12.

The camp costs $10 a day and will be held for two weeks starting Dec. 24 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The camp will close Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day.

Participants must also bring their own breakfast, lunch or snack.
