State lawmakers representing DeKalb County will host a town hall meeting next Monday to get feedback from current legislative proposals on the state budget, immigration, the HOPE scholarship and other programs.

State Rep. Scott Holcomb and state Sen. Steve Henson, both Democrats, will host the session that begins at 7 p.m. at the Tucker Recreation Center on Lavista Road.

The meeting is part of a series of town halls being hosted by Democratic lawmakers, who are in the minority in both houses of the General Assembly.
