The DeKalb County Commission recently adopted a resolution that calls for outlawing to children from raising money for various groups at intersections.

The resolution is designed to protect children and give county police the ability to make them move from intersections when trying to fund-raise for sports leagues or social groups.

The resolution also calls for adults and commercial vendors to pay $25 for a weekly permit that allows them to solicit money at intersections. However, there is no accompanying code that allows for that permit.
